BPET Scheme of Delegation 2018/19
The Bellevue Place Education Trust Board of Trustees have approved the revised BPET Scheme of Delegation for 2018/19 academic year. This is established as a formal schedule that sets out the responsibilities and oversight that is reserved by the BPET Board and matters that have been delegated to the accounting officer (Chief Executive), Local Advisory Boards for each school and the Headteacher. The Scheme of Delegation also includes the financial limits set at the Board, Chief Executive and school level.
The key change this year has been the consultation and decision to remove Local Governing Bodies and to replace them with Local Advisory Boards, whose key focus will be on the education provision meeting the needs of the community the school serves.
This is a key document which forms the basis of the delegated authority for all schools in the Bellevue Place Education Trust. The 2018/19 version was approved at the BPET Board meeting on 18 July 2018 and will continue to be reviewed annually.
