We are incredibly proud that through the architectural team of ADP Architecture, our newest school building for Braywick Court School has been short-listed for the Project of the Year – Schools Award.

The Education Estates Awards celebrate excellence and achievement in education and ADP Architecture have two projects short listed as finalists.

Braywick Court School is shortlisted for the Project of the Year – Schools Award, which recognises a school new build project that has made a difference to the educational or research experience.

In summary in it’s application the project states “Braywick connects with nature and its surroundings at every opportunity, positively enhancing the wellbeing of pupils and staff. The bright, relaxing, and calming environment significantly improves the pupil experience, with creative and effective wayfinding introduced through colour and graphics.”

The winners will be announced at the Education Estates Digital Awards Ceremony on 15th October 2020.  We all have our fingers crossed.

It has been momentous week for Braywick Court School as pupils returned from half term at their new permanent building on Monday 4 November 2019.

The purpose built facility is situated on the edge of the village of Bray in Maidenhead. The building has been constructed by Interserve over the past year.

In the week before half term staff and parents moved over all the equipment from Riverside School, where the school has been in temporary accommodation for the past three years.

The new classrooms are light and airy, with Key Stage 2 having a balcony on the first floor to enjoy the great setting of the nature reserve the school is set in.
