Strategic Plan 2025-2030
We are ambitious, and have identified a number of strategic objectives in order to achieve our vision. In the next few years, we will be focusing on three main strategic objectives:

Providing a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum, through a personalised approach for all our pupils to LEARN and to develop a love for learning
- Strong staffing culture supported by high quality CPD delivering staff development, with succession plans and an expanding SCITT programme
- Broad curriculum enriched with an extended curriculum, promoting equality, diversity delivered with a personalised learning experience for pupils, building confidence, independence, resilience, entrepreneurialism and preparing our pupils to be positive citizens.
- A robust review cycle to challenge schools to deliver excellence through intervention in inverse proportion to success
- Pupil attendance to be above 96% and persistent absence below 10% in every BPET school.
Delivering an exceptional, engaging and exciting education where children ENJOY their learning in a safe environment – with high aspirations for all pupils to SUCCEED progressing to reach high levels of achievement, becoming happy, independent and confident individuals
- 100% of teaching to be judged effective or highly effective over time, as reflected in pupil assessments, class work and through learning reviews
- 85% of pupils at Age-Related Expectations and 25% at Exceeding Expectations at the end of Key Stage 2 in reading, writing and maths
- Coordinated approach to Special Educational Needs provision across BPET, with disadvantaged pupils achieving as well as their peers
- Preparing pupils and parents for the school journey with regular progress updates and focussed support for their transition to secondary school
- Maintaining excellent school facilities, with clear asset management plans and reducing energy costs, aiming to be Carbon Zero by 2030.
Evolving and expanding BPET with efficient systems delivering value for money overseen by strong governance and providing opportunities to share best practice through strong CPD and professional networks to attract, develop, support and retain the very best staff
- Innovative use of ICT with a strategy to enhance staff collaboration and drive a rich technological approach to inspire pupils’ learning
- Promoting our schools to become the school of first choice in the community they serve, with a net promoter score above 60%
- Operating with a surplus of 5% of income, schools continue to drive efficiencies with no more than 75% of income spent on staffing
- Growth of new schools within BPET to 24 schools, developing clusters of schools.
