Assessment Leaders network - led by Headteacher Toby Mills-Bishop

A termly network session for all assessment leaders to come together and shape the direction assessment moves in across BPET. It is also a chance to share and discuss best practice on things such as custom report writer usage on Arbor, use of standardised scores to track progress, pupil progress meetings and reporting arrangements to parents.

Deputy Headteachers network - led by Headteacher Rob Farrell

A termly network session for Deputy Headteachers at Kilburn Grange School.
These sessions are designed to create a dedicated, collaborative space for senior leaders to step back from day-to-day operations. They provide an opportunity to build strong professional connections across BPET schools, navigate current educational developments and policy shifts, and engage in targeted professional development. Through structured peer-to-peer sharing and collaborative problem-solving, deputy heads will reflect on impact, explore innovative practice, and refine leadership strategies to drive school improvement.

Dates: Friday 27 Nov, and further dates to be decided with the group.

The meetings will provide an opportunity to discuss and share:

EYFS Leaders network - led by Natalia Levene, BPET EYFS Champion

Termly opportunities to meet with EYFS leaders to discuss latest research, guidance and best practice. These sessions will look at common themes emerging from BPET review visits, sector recommendations and the importance of frequent interactions between children and adults, especially in the areas of communication, language, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional development.

SEND Leaders network - led by Anouska Sehmi, BPET SEND Champion

An opportunity for all SENDCos and Inclusion Leaders within an extremely challenging role in the current climate, to come together in a supportive fashion, to discuss all things SEND using the experience and best practice within BPET.

Physical Education showcase day & network - led by Jack Briley, BPET Sports Champion

Learning Review Q&A  - Led by Alison Colenso, BPET Director of Education

A drop in session led by Alison Colenso for those who are leading or supporting a learning review team and have any questions.

Headteacher network - led by Mark Greatrex, BPET Chief Executive

An opportunity for BPET Headteachers to meet four times a year in person to discuss the challenges across their schools, hear about exciting new opportunities from other schools or from outside providers, and contribute to the development of BPET as a whole. Important space for Headteachers to share their challenges in confidence and develop relationships with other key leaders in BPET.

Local Governing Board network - led by Mark Greatrex, BPET Chief Executive

For all Local Governing Board Chairs, senior members of the central team and the Chair of Trustees, Claire Delaney.

School Operations Managers network - led by Jane Aust, BPET Head of Operations 

Online meetings that provide a valuable opportunity to ask questions, develop knowledge, and build skills and confidence in a supportive environment.

Date: Monthly.

Site Managers network - led by Jane Aust, BPET Head of Operations 

These meetings are a networking opportunity for the site teams and a chance for both personal and school improvement. Each day will provide: 

• a forum for site teams to discuss and share expertise,
• opportunities to visit other BPET schools.
