BPET Girls Year 3 and 4 football cup

The outdoor sports pitch at Watling Park School was filled with energy and excitement on 9 October 2025, as teams of Year 3 and 4 girls from all seven BPET London hub schools gathered for the annual Girls Football Tournament. Players from Deer Park School, Kilburn Grange School, Halley House School, Watling Park School, Whitehall Park School, Rutherford House School, and Dollis Primary School arrived on the pitch ready to give it their all.

From the first kick to the final whistle, the energy was incredible. Pupils cheered and chanted for their teammates, keeping the atmosphere lively and fun all day long. Despite the competitive spirit, the players remained respectful and supportive throughout the day by encouraging each other showing true sportsmanship.

This year brought a big change to the leaderboard. After three years at the top, Deer Park School was dethroned, finishing in joint third place alongside Kilburn Grange School. Rutherford House School secured second place, while Halley House School claimed the championship title thanks to their teamwork, skill, and resilience.

The tournament was organised by Jack Briley, Whitehall Park School’s sports coach and BPET Sports Champion. Thanks to Jack and the help from all the school coaches, the day was packed with fun, confidence-building moments, and new memories. It was a celebration of sport and team spirit that they will all remember.
