Dollis Primary School joins BPET
Dollis Primary School (Barnet, London) has joined our family of schools on 1 September 2024.
With this addition, the BPET family has grown to 12 primary schools, which collectively educates 4,171 children across London and Berkshire.
Dollis Primary School is a government funded, non-selective, highly inclusive primary school in the Mill Hill area in North London.
The school’s motto Excellence in all we do aligns completely with BPET’s aspirational vision for every child to Learn, Enjoy, Succeed. The shared aims to nurture the full potential in every child, support their growth into confident, all-rounders individuals are at the heart of this new connection.
Mrs Rosetta Dyer, Headteacher, said: “As part of their ambitious journey to grow an excellent school in Mill Hill, the Dollis Primary School Governing Body began the process of exploring joining an academy trust, even prior to my appointment.
Over the past two years, the local governors, staff and I felt inspired by BPET, seeing it as a trust which would support in offering a rich school experience to our pupils and a dynamic environment for our staff and leaders to be inspired and challenged.
We unanimously chose BPET because it outshone other trusts in terms of having values that were closely aligned with our school’s, and because it is an organisation with a proven track record in delivering strategic change and growth. We have enjoyed the dynamic and progressive culture, and it is reassuring that BPET is true to its stated aims and culture. ”
Mark Greatrex, BPET Chief Executive, said: “Thrilled Dollis Primary School have joined BPET, being situated near an existing BPET school. We are looking forward to working together with the genuine support we offer as a family of schools. We are delighted to support Dollis in their journey towards excellence, and also to gain some invaluable insights from their experience to share with the rest of the BPET schools”.
