Outline of a year: 2025-26

As the academic year is coming to an end, we want to reflect on the achievements of our pupils, schools, and trust.

Well done to all BPET pupils and staff for another amazing year!

Pupil and school achievements

  • 75% of pupils are projected to meet the expected standards for Reading, Writing and maths. This matches last year's strong performance and stands 12% above the national average.
  • In Reception, 80% of children achieved a Good Level of Development, and 87% of Year 1 pupils passed their phonics check. Exceeding national averages by 12% and 7% respectively.
  • Whitehall Park School was officially recognised by Transport for London (TfL) as an inspiring school for its outstanding efforts to boost active travel.
  • Rivermead Primary School, under the revised framework, achieved “Strong Standards” in four key areas, and "Expected Standard" in the remaining three areas.
  • Six BPET schools ran the London Mini Marathon, with two of our London schools travelling to The Mall to run 2.6 km through central London.
  • Halley House School, Kilburn Grange School, and Whiteknights Primary School have each received a letter of congratulations from Bridget Phillipson, Secretary of State for Education, recognising their exceptional outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.
  • Priory Park Road, outside Kilburn Grange School, has officially been closed to traffic following campaigns to close the road.
